Lake Oswego Village began as Lakeshore Apartments and was one of the most popular apartment complexes in the area because of its downtown location.  Built between 1948 and 1952, the size and location of the complex made it a very desirable place to live.  The Lakewood Grade School, which is now the Lakewood Center for the Arts, was right across Middlecrest Road, making Lakeshore especially convenient for families.

Lake Oswego Village sits on 3.5 acres of prime downtown Lake Oswego property and is made up of 24 one bedroom, 26 two bedroom and 12 townhouses. Included is a deck which is ideal for picnics and sun tanning.  In addition, Lake Oswego Swim Park is adjacent to the west side of the property.

We have a good mix of owners and renters, with singles, couples and a few children.  Nice cats and dogs also call Lake Oswego Village home.  With bus service conveniently located along State Street, access to Portland and the rest of the Metro area is very convenient.  Location is one of the Lake Oswego Village’s greatest assets.

In the past decade, the City of Lake Oswego has worked hard to improve the downtown area.  It has a lot to offer and the city has received awards for its beauty and attractiveness.
